Birth of a Calf
This page documents the calving of SGF SMIR Heidi from the beginning of her dam's strong contractions through her birth and first feeding. The last photo shows Heidi in the pasture at three weeks of age. Heidi is the first calf from SGF LCIN Holly, who was slightly more than 25 months old when she calved.
